Minecraft:Mountain Home

Mountain Home is a territory of Erisiana, located in the mountains above Inverness and the New Seattle bay. It is the present capitol of Erisiana.

Creation

Sometime in YOLD 3180, Elizafox created a mountain house in the mountains above what would become Inverness, in the process creating Castle Eris and the House of Eris. After neglecting it for almost a year, the Grand Inquisitor of Discord House claimed a nearby mountain as Mount Discord, hollowed it out, and formed Castle Discordia, the de jure headquarters of Discord House. Around this time, it was agreed by both the House of Eris and Discord House to join the lower levels to form Joint Castle Eris-Discordia, who were then subsequently joined by Cat House.

Amenities

Mountain Home's main area is the joint castle, which contains an inn, living quarters, various shops, and government ministries. Mountain Home is also a major rail station, being the last non-Ancien station on the Ancien Central Railroad. Mountain Home is also a major link between New Seattle and River Bend, containing the fastest route by rail to New Seattle via River Bend (otherwise, one must go through Esperito, Finéjo, Malaclypse, then onwards to New Seattle).

Mountain Home is renowned for its public parks and the Jenkem Factory, producers of quality intoxicants.

Connections

Mountain Home is connected to Winter Rock, Burgstad, and River Bend via an unnamed bridge, Ancien via Unity Bridge, and New Seattle via the New Seattle Bridge. Rumours of a hidden passage to Inverness at the mountain's base are unfounded nonsense.

Nearby are several docks which offer transportation to Inverness, New Seattle, and Bay City via the Malaclypse Interior Waterway. Fort Greyface, a naval fort at the entrance to the waterway, is close by.
