The Commune of Malaclypse is an agglomeration of districts, consolidated into what would be colloquially called a city, controlled by Erisiana. It is the capitol of Malaclypse Province, and the main anchor city for the region.
History
Malaclypse was created in YOLD 3181 by Discord House and the House of Eris jointly, shortly after the construction of the Malaclypse Interior Waterway, for which it was named. The initial structures were the large arch bridge above the canal from Lookout Naval Station, a glass station, and the Malaclypse Stadium.
Subdivisions
Malaclypse is divided into six districts, named for seasons of the Discordian calendar (except St. Tib's, which lies in no season). Each district is home to an inquisitor office.
The Aftermath
The Aftermath is a run-down and light industrial district in the west portion of town, bordering Confusion directly east, Bureaucracy to the southeast, and a small portion of Chaos to the northeast. Disaster is directly west, Portsmouth is to the southwest, and Kallisti is to the northwest. It is home to the Malaclypse Stadium, Hung Mung Farms, a statuary, and several housing projects.
Connections between the incident at Disaster and the poverty and low health of the residents here are likely unfounded.
E-10 passes between Disaster and The Aftermath, which bypasses Malaclypse en route to Ravenhurst. There is also a ramp to E-10 along Mung Street.
